Moss House is situated in Lancashire which is a detached three bed-roomed property. We offer short term, long term and emergency placements for a maximum of three young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties. One large single room has the benefit of an en-suite bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and WC, and has a safety alarm fitted. The two smaller bedrooms have the use of a shared bathroom with facilities such as a bath, shower, wash hand basin and WC. Each of the young person’s rooms are warm and bright and we encourage all those who come and live with us to bring their own personal possessions to personalise their own space and make their bedrooms feel their own. We do provide a TV and CD/Radio in each bedroom.
We aim to ensure that our house reflects that of a family home where Young People feel safe, relaxed and cared for in a non-institutionalised setting.
On the ground floor, Moss House has a fitted kitchen, dining room and lounge; there is also an office and an additional sleep in area for staff.
Outside at the front of the property there is a parking area for four vehicles and to the rear of the property there is a garden with a lawn where children can play and Young People can relax.
